THE JULY 20 MEETING AND GAVE US A BRIEF UPDATE
ON THEIR EXPERIENCES AT THE CAMP IN SAN DIEGO.
HERE IS WHAT LORRI HAD TO SAY ABOUT HER EXPERIENCE:
"This experience overall at the Youth Rally was great. I made a bunch of new friends who could relate to me. Even though a lot of them live in other states we still keep in touch by email or by calling each other. At the camp we went to the zoo and to the beach where there was a small little carnival where we went on the rides. We had different conferences with kids our age and we talked about different experiences we had with our ostomy. At the very end of the week we had a dance and that was so much fun. It was sad to say goodbye to all of my new friends and we went back home. Overall I had a good experience.”
